Lula Goce


 

Born in Galicia, Spain, Lula Goce moved at the age of 20 to Salamanca where she graduated in Fine Arts, specializing in painting. In 2000, she moved to Barcelona, driving her ambition to continue her studies as a visual artist. She took numerous courses in art production centres, like Hangar Barcelona or Matadero Madrid.

 

Her working life has always been linked to art, from graphic designer to being a collaborator and a producer in the project “Curator Wanted”. She was producer in the LOOP ’07 Video Art Festival and worked as an illustrator for Esquire Magazine. Lula Goce teaches Graphic Design and Illustration at the ESERP University in Barcelona and also at the Felicidad Dulde School of Fashion where she is dealing with subjects like Analogue and Digital Techniques and Illustrations.

 

Lula has been participating in art festivals, art events and exhibitions around the world, both collective and individual in Spain and Europa such as the Casa de las Conchas in Salamanca, the Santa Mónica Arts Centre and the CCCB in Barcelona, Zona Maco and Marco Art Contemporary Museum in Monterrey and the Inoperable Gallery in Viena.
